John K. Hart

Mr. Hart has extensive complex business litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience. Mr. Hart was named a Southern California Super Lawyer for business litigation in the 2006 Super Lawyers publication. Mr. Hart has represented clients in a wide range of cases, including: commercial contracts, lender liability, employment discrimination, business torts, antitrust, consumer class actions and representative actions under California's unfair competition statute (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200), breach of fiduciary duty, partnership disputes and legal malpractice. Mr. Hart has been a member of the American Arbitration Association's Panel of Commercial Arbitrators since1990. He is also an experienced mediator. Mr. Hart was a member of the Board of Directors of Dispute Resolution Services, in 1998 and 1999 and he was a member of the Executive Committee of ADR Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association from 1995-1997. Mr. Hart has been a presenter at several CEB conferences and courses, including Bridgeport's Class Action and Unfair Competition Law Conference. Jack has volunteered his time as a mediator in court-sponsored mediation programs for decades and is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.Jack is an Irishman from Pittsburgh and is an avid Steelers' fan. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Van Ness Recovery House in Hollywood. Jack has high family values and has a very close relationship with his nephews and niece, who he enjoys spending time with often. On his free time, Jack also enjoys skiing and playing card games.
